Our days of resisting the blogging have ended for an undetermined time frame. Adam, refuses to blog. Is it possible for me to Blog and build our brand with only sparse information about Taxes, Book Keeping blah, blah, blah? Seriously, he will be giving me something for the blog from time to time.

Tell me what you want us to blog about?

The “blog” is an excellent tool for small business owners. Think about the advertising budgets the larger tax franchises employ for television, internet and print adds. My goal with this blog is to say, take the time to LIKE, COMMENT and SHARE small business’s social media efforts. Not because they cant afford the T.V. and pay per click options....but because they have chosen to operate on referrals from satisfied customers rather then charge you 2 and 3 times the amount reasonable for the job.

We’ve had offers from those chains to purchase our business with options to stay and make more profit than we do now. For some reason, we LOVE our customers and the way we do business. It would be impossible to let a big corporation tell us where, when, what and how to do something. Yes, sometimes we charge and extra $20 to someone who is a royal pain in the ass and then again, there’s that widow who’s lost her husband who just needs someone to talk to that we each take turns talking to and charge nothing.

Having a Tax Service can be frustrating. Oh...the stories we could tell. But we would never. People take their frustrations out on my husband, my kids (adults now), and various other family members and friends who work for us...and yet...we LOOK FORWARD to seeing the majority of our customers year after year.
